_{PRESS RELEASE

The “7 ply project” skateboard art and culture festival is being held by “ropaganda Rollin Co.” for thethird time in collaboration with Vans Footwear and is sponsored by "Vodafone CU". The aim of the fest is to expose the art and culture of skateboarding.
The Exhibition-Festival for 2008 will be held in “Technopolis” of the city of Athens (100 Pireaus str.- Gazi) for two days on the 3 and 4 of May.
A skateboard deck that is made of seven plies of maple (7ply construction) is the object that every skateboarder worships and the object that all the participating artists were given so that they create their projects.
A section of the exhibition will be dedicated to skate photography after the successfull entry of this feature in the 07'organisation featuring the work of the most dedicated Greek photographers of the scene.
During the fest Greek bands will play live music representative of the culture of skateboarding.

On Saturday 3 of May at 21:00 the live performance of the infamous "TUS" & on the other hand the famous "TAKI TSAN" supported by Dj Kounadis will turn the volume of the festival higher..
On Sunday 4 of May also at 21:00 "Professional Sinnerz" & "Komis X" after "Dear Darkstar" will rock the spot bringing together their different aproach to today's music scene.
The Propaganda mini ramp linked together with a brand new miniramp provided by VANS will be the terrain on which skateboarders will have the chance to compete on and prove their skills for the 2000€ prize .

Registrations and warm up starts on Saturday at 11:00.

Preliminary round starts on Saturday at 11:00.

Semi Finals start on Sunday at 12:00The finals will take palce on Sunday at 18:00

Rollin schooll will be in progress each day and Giotis Gordios will share his knowledge with the litle groms that want to participate on an ultra small and specially manufactured mini ramp for this purpose.(17:00-18:00)

DANNY WAINWRIGHT pro skateboard and street artist is specially invited by Vans Footwear to expose his art as a participant in the exhibition and do a mini ramp demo with some extra pop on the mini on Saturday (20:00).

Bring your skateboards and your creative mood to be part of the biggest skateboard gig in Greece.
